Cookies and privacy choices

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for website functionality, analytics, advertising, attribution, and security. Some technologies are necessary for the websites to work, while others help us understand site usage or support advertising.

Privacy choices may be presented based on your location. Eligible visitors can use the Do not sell or share my personal information or similar privacy link displayed near the bottom of the site to manage choices relating to Raptive advertising. You may also manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some website features. Choices made through Raptive’s controls apply to Raptive’s advertising systems and do not necessarily control every service identified in this policy.

Analytics

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure website activity and performance. Google Analytics may process information about your browser or device, pages viewed, interactions, referring pages, approximate geographic area, and cookie or device identifiers. We may use analytics information to understand traffic, improve our websites, and measure marketing performance. Our Google implementation may use consent signals to adjust how Google tags behave based on available privacy choices.

Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, review Google’s Privacy Policy, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Ahrefs Web Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand aggregated website traffic and usage. According to Ahrefs, its Web Analytics service is cookie-free by default and does not use persistent identifiers to track people across websites or days. Ahrefs may process page and referrer information, browser language, user-agent information, and an IP address to derive approximate location and calculate daily unique visitors. Ahrefs states that raw IP addresses are discarded rather than stored. Learn more in Ahrefs’ Web Analytics documentation.

Advertising and Meta Business Tools

We use Meta Business Tools, which may include the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, to measure activity associated with Facebook and Instagram advertising. These tools may allow Meta to receive information such as pages visited, actions taken on our websites, browser and device information, IP address, advertising or cookie identifiers, referring information, and conversion events. Where enabled and permitted, information you provide may be matched or transformed before being sent to Meta.

We use this information to measure advertising results, understand whether ads led to visits or actions, create or refine advertising audiences, prevent fraud, and improve our advertising. Meta may process this information under its own terms and privacy policy and may associate it with information it already holds. You can learn more in Meta’s Privacy Policy and manage certain advertising choices through your Facebook or Instagram settings.
