Free Leather Drink Coasters Pattern (Printable PDF)

This free leather drink coasters set pattern lets you make classic leather coasters using a simple, printable PDF template. It’s a quick and approachable leathercraft project that works well for home use, gifts, or adding a small leather good to your product lineup.

Usage Note: You are free to use this design to create and even sell the end product. However, you cannot re-distribute this template in any form.

Instructions

There is currently no video instructions for this template set.

In the file you will have 3 different variations to choose from. There are also evenly spaced stitching holes if you decide to add decorative stitching to your coasters. That is not required.

Leather Selection

You have a very wide range of leathers and thicknesses you can use for your drink coasters. Traditionally they are cut from thicker (6-8oz) vegetable tanned leather if youre doing single layer coasters.

If you plan on stitching, you will have a better time using slightly thinner leather (3-5oz).

Being a drink coaster, the leather WILL be getting wet to some degree. Please plan accordingly.

Guidelines of Template Usage

We put a lot of time and effort into producing these templates, videos, and blog posts. Please do not distribute the template you have purchased from MAKESUPPLY. It’s not cool and hurts our feelings (CRY EMOJI). And we have eyes EVERYWHERE.

However, you are free to do whatever you want with the end product you create using the template.
